Excuses excuses

Ok, you got me. I think it's safe to say that I will never be a very active blogger.
 Don't worry though just yet people who still read this blog (Snædís) because you will still find a new post here every once in while.
And since school is very hectic at the moment what with all these tests, assignments and presentations which I should really be working on right now, I decided to forget all that and blog!

This past week I've been watching a lot of films, great films! Most of them old classics that ,,everyone should see" but I never did because I'm a rebel~
I saw the Godfather trilogy which, to my surprise, was really good. I know it shouldn't surprise me because, well, people say the first one is one of the greatest films ever but I've never been a fan of mob films.
I also watched the 90's version Cape Fear. I did not know that the Simpsons episode 'Cape Feare' was a spoof of that film by the way. So you can imagine my surprise. Cape Fear is great and terrifying, I recommend it.
Then I watched Goodfellas, another good mob film. I still can't figure out how on earth Henry Hill is still alive but like you know whatever.
And then~ I watched Melancholia and let me just say, holy mother of everything. Melancholia is amazing. It's stunning, but also very bleak. After watching it I spent a few days just wandering around aimlessly. It was all very dramatic. I suggest you go watch that movie now. Drop everything and watch it!
